No, the Kong with Battle Axe Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released in 2021 as part of the Godzilla vs. Kong movie line, and it was widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels. While specific color variants or limited editions might be scarcer, the standard SKU 1021 is a common collectible.
There is no single fixed value for this item, as prices fluctuate based on condition, packaging integrity, and current market demand. As a standard retail collectible, its value is typically anchored to its original retail price, which was approximately $12 to $15, though sealed copies in high demand may command a premium on secondary markets. To determine the precise current worth, you should check recent completed sales on platforms like eBay or specialized Funko trading sites.
I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without visual inspection, so I cannot confirm if your figure is real. To authenticate a Funko Pop, check that the box has a holographic sticker, the figure has a clean paint job without excess glue, and the eyes are properly aligned. You can also verify the SKU 1021 against Funko's official product database to ensure the item matches the 2021 release specifications.

Funko has discontinued the Kong with Battle Axe Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1021), so it is no longer in print or available to purchase new from official retail channels. Collectors seeking this specific item must look to the secondary market, such as online resale platforms, where availability and pricing fluctuate based on condition and demand.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or chipped plastic, as well as verifying that the battle axe accessory is intact and not warped. You should also examine the box for any signs of wear, creasing, or damage to the window, since the packaging is a significant factor in the item's value. While third-party grading services like PSA can assign a numerical grade to sealed items, most collectors simply assess the figure and box visually for "mint" or "near-mint" status based on these physical characteristics.
