No, the Kora Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item released in 2023 as part of the Avatar franchise line, and it was widely available in retail stores and online marketplaces. While specific variants like chases may be harder to find, the standard SKU 1533 is a common collectible.
The Kora Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1533) is a standard retail item that typically sells for $10 to $15 when new in box. As a common release from 2023, it does not command a significant premium on the secondary market, and used copies generally trade for less than the original retail price.
To authenticate a 2023 Kora Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1533), first verify that the packaging is a sealed, shrink-wrapped box with the correct Funko logo and a holographic security sticker. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper proportions, and a smooth, glossy finish, as counterfeit versions often feature rough seams, dull plastic, or misaligned eyes. You can also cross-reference the SKU number on the box with official Funko listings to ensure the item matches the genuine 2023 release specifications.

Funko has not publicly announced that the Kora Pop! Movies (SKU 1533) is discontinued, so it is technically still in print. However, availability for this specific character from the *Avatar* franchise fluctuates frequently, and it is often out of stock at major retailers. To confirm current availability, you should check the "In Stock" filter on the official Funko website or look for new listings on secondary marketplaces like eBay.
To condition-check a Kora Pop! Movies figure, inspect the vinyl surface under bright light for scratches, scuffs, or paint transfer, paying close attention to the hair and facial features. Verify that the figure is securely seated within its base without any visible gaps or wobbling, and check the packaging for any creases, tears, or window damage if it is still sealed. While third-party grading services exist for collectibles, most individual buyers simply assess the item visually against the manufacturer's original retail condition standards.
