Common questions about the Korben Dallas Pop! Movies from Funko (2015).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Korben Dallas Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-production release from Funko's 2015 catalog. Being a common item from a major movie franchise, it is widely available in the secondary market and does not carry the scarcity value associated with limited editions or discontinued exclusives.
The value of a Korben Dallas Pop! Movie (SKU 189) varies significantly based on condition, with unopened figures typically retailing between $10 and $20 while opened figures generally sell for less. As a standard release from 2015, it is not a rare item, so prices are usually found near or slightly below original retail on secondary markets like eBay.
To authenticate your Korben Dallas Pop! Movies figure, first verify that the SKU 189 is printed on the box and that the packaging displays the official Funko logo and copyright information. Inspect the vinyl for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the absence of rough seams or flash marks, which are common indicators of counterfeits. Additionally, check the bottom of the figure for a molded copyright symbol and the year of manufacture, as genuine Funko Pops typically include these markings. If the box appears worn, has poor print quality, or the figure feels unusually light or poorly balanced compared to known authentic examples, it may be a replica.
The Korben Dallas Pop! Movies was released in 2015 by Funko.
The Korben Dallas Pop! Movies figure (SKU 189) is discontinued and no longer in print. It is not available to buy new from Funko, so collectors must seek out used copies on the secondary market.
To condition-check a Korben Dallas Pop! Movies figure, inspect the vinyl surface under bright light for any mold lines, paint chips, or scuffs, paying particular attention to the head and hands which are prone to wear. Verify that the eyes are intact and properly aligned, and ensure the base is free of cracks or significant discoloration. For a formal grade, you can submit the figure to a third-party grading service, though most collectors simply assess the item as Mint, Near Mint, or Used based on visible flaws.
