No, the Kowalski Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko’s 2015 release of the movie *Kowalski*, and it was widely available through major retail channels. While its value may fluctuate based on condition and market demand, it does not possess the limited production numbers or exclusivity that define rare collectibles.
The 2015 Funko Pop! Kowalski (SKU 162) is a common item that typically sells for between $5 and $10 in new, sealed condition. Prices for used figures are generally lower, often ranging from $2 to $5 depending on the condition of the box and figure. As a standard release from a popular movie, it does not command a premium price in the secondary market.
To authenticate your 2015 Kowalski Pop! (SKU 162), first verify that the box is square with sharp edges and that the window is clear without excessive scratches. Check the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper proportions, and the correct Funko logo on the base, as counterfeits often feature blurry printing or misaligned parts. While there is no official serial number system for standard 2015 releases, comparing the item side-by-side with high-resolution images from reputable retailers like Funko.com or major authorized dealers is the most reliable method for identifying discrepancies.
The Kowalski Pop! Movies was released in 2015 by Funko.
The Kowalski Pop! Movies figure (SKU 162) is no longer in print and is not available to purchase new from Funko. As a 2015 release, it is considered a discontinued item, meaning new stock is only available through third-party resellers or the secondary market.
To condition-check a Kowalski Pop! Movies figure, inspect the vinyl surface under bright light for scratches, scuffs, or paint chips, paying close attention to the face and hands. Verify that the eyes are properly aligned and that the figure stands level without leaning, which can indicate a warped base. While you can perform a basic visual inspection at home, obtaining an official grade requires submitting the figure to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on its overall cosmetic condition.
