Common questions about the Krang 6" Pop! Retro Toys from Funko (2021).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Krang 6" Pop! Retro Toys figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's Retro Toys line, which was widely distributed through major retail channels in 2021. Because it was not a limited edition or exclusive release, it is generally available on the secondary market.
The value of a Krang 6" Pop! Retro Toys figure varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is sold in the box, with typical retail prices for new, in-box copies generally ranging from $15 to $25. As a mass-produced item from 2021, it does not command a premium collector's price, and its market value is largely determined by current local availability and demand.
To authenticate a Funko Pop! Krang (Retro Toys series, SKU 72), verify that the packaging features the official Funko logo and the specific "Retro Toys" branding, and check that the vinyl figure has the correct paint application, particularly on Krang's green skin and red accents. Ensure the base is solid and the figure stands upright without excessive wobble, as poor molding is a common sign of counterfeits. If the item lacks a holographic sticker or the box feels flimsy compared to known genuine examples, it may be a replica, so consulting a Funko authentication service or comparing it against verified photos from reputable retailers is recommended.
The Krang 6" Pop! Retro Toys was released in 2021 by Funko.
The Krang 6" Pop! Retro Toys (SKU 72) is no longer in print and is not available for purchase as a new item from Funko. This figure was part of a limited production run released in 2021, so it is now only available through the secondary market from third-party resellers.
Funko does not offer an official grading service for Pop! figures, so there is no standardized professional grade to reference. To assess the condition of a Krang figure, you should inspect it for common defects such as paint overspray, chipped plastic, or misaligned eyes, which are frequent issues with mass-produced vinyl items. The most reliable method for verifying condition is to compare the specific figure against high-resolution images of a known good example, paying close attention to the articulation points and the integrity of the paint on the character's distinctive features.
