The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
I cannot find reliable information to confirm whether the 2025 Kuromi with Baku Pop! Sanrio (SKU 115) is considered rare. As a 2025 release, this figure is likely part of a standard production run rather than a limited edition, meaning its long-term scarcity has not yet been established.
As a 2025 release, the Kuromi with Baku Pop! Sanrio (SKU 115) is currently a new item, so its value is primarily determined by its retail price rather than established secondary market appreciation. Without historical sales data, it is not possible to assign a specific collectible value, but it generally trades at or near its original retail cost until a secondary market develops.
Because the 2025 release of the Kuromi with Baku Pop! (SKU 115) is too recent for established secondary market authentication data, I cannot provide specific counterfeit indicators for this exact item. Generally, authentic Funko Pops feature a smooth, uniform plastic finish, a crisp "Funko" logo on the base, and a sealed box with a holographic sticker, though these features are frequently replicated by high-quality fakes. For definitive authentication of a 2025 release, you should verify the purchase history against a reputable retailer or consult a specialized authentication service once the item has been on the market long enough for counterfeits to be documented.
The Kuromi with Baku Pop! Sanrio was released in 2025 by Funko.
As a 2025 release, the Kuromi with Baku Pop! Sanrio (SKU 115) is currently in print and available for purchase new from Funko and authorized retailers. Because it is a recent addition to the Sanrio line, it has not yet reached the status of a discontinued or exclusive item.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seams, or scratches, and verifying that the head is properly seated on the body without gaps. You should also examine the acrylic display box for cracks, clouding, or damage to the printed artwork, as the box condition significantly impacts the item's value. For a formal grade, the item must be submitted to a professional third-party grading service, which will assign a numerical score based on the figure's and box's preservation.
