No, the Laura Moon Pop! Television (SKU 679) is not considered rare. It was a standard mass-production release from 2018 and was widely available through major retailers at the time. While its value may fluctuate based on condition and market demand, it is not a limited edition or exclusive variant.
The Laura Moon Pop! Television (SKU 679) is a standard 2018 release that typically sells for approximately $5 to $10 in the secondary market when new in box. Because this is a common, non-exclusive figure from a popular series, it does not command a premium price, and values fluctuate based on current demand and condition.
To authenticate your Laura Moon Pop! Television, first verify that the figure is made of vinyl with a matte finish and that the paint is evenly applied without significant bleeding or overspray. Check the base for a clean, molded logo and ensure the eyes are properly aligned and glossy, as poor eye alignment is a common sign of counterfeits. You should also inspect the packaging for high-quality printing and the correct SKU 679, noting that genuine Funko boxes typically have a sturdy, glossy finish. If the figure feels lightweight, has a rough texture, or the paint looks faded, it is likely a replica.
The Laura Moon Pop! Television was released in 2018 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Laura Moon Pop! Television figure, meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from official retailers. This item is now only available through the secondary market, such as online resale platforms, where prices are subject to fluctuation based on condition and demand.
Condition-checking a Laura Moon Pop! Television involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold defects, with particular attention to the hair and facial features which are prone to wear. Verify that the eyes are properly aligned and free of cloudiness, and ensure the figure stands securely on its base without excessive wobble. For a formal grade, the figure must be submitted to a third-party certification service like PSA or Beckett, which will assign a numerical score based on standardized criteria for flaws and completeness.
