Common questions about the Laureline Pop! Movies from Funko (2017).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Laureline Pop! Movies figure (SKU 438) is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run released in 2017. Like most standard Funko Pop! figures from that era, it was widely distributed through major retailers and remains readily available on the secondary market.
The value of the 2017 Funko Pop! Movies Laureline (SKU 438) fluctuates based on condition and market demand, but it typically sells for approximately $10 to $15 when new in box. Prices for this specific figure can vary slightly depending on the seller and current inventory levels, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate current market value.
Authenticating a 2017 Funko Pop! requires checking for specific quality markers, as the company did not include holographic stickers on most figures from that era. Look for a smooth, uniform paint job without brush strokes, a clean seam line on the base, and a sharp, legible copyright mark on the bottom of the figure. The packaging should feature the official Funko logo and a barcode that matches the SKU 438, with the window cut cleanly and the figure seated securely in the plastic tray. If the paint is chipped, the plastic is rough, or the box lacks standard printing quality, it is likely a counterfeit.
The Laureline Pop! Movies was released in 2017 by Funko.
The Laureline Pop! Movies figure (SKU 438) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2017 release, it has been discontinued, meaning any new purchases would need to be sourced from the secondary market.
To condition-check a Laureline Pop! Movies figure, inspect the vinyl surface for any cracks, scratches, or paint transfer, paying close attention to the hair and facial features. Verify that the figure is securely seated within its window box and that the packaging is free from significant dents, tears, or water damage. Since the 2017 release is now several years old, check for signs of age-related yellowing on the plastic or fading of the printed graphics.
