No, the Leafeon Pop! Games figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's 2022 Pokémon line, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets.
The Leafeon Pop! Games figure (SKU 866) is a standard retail item that typically sells for its original retail price of approximately $11.99 to $14.99 when new in box. As a common, mass-produced collectible, it does not command a premium in the secondary market, and its value is generally limited to its face value or slightly less if sold used.
To authenticate your 2022 Leafeon Pop! (SKU 866), first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko Games logo and that the vinyl figure inside matches the specific design for that release year. Check the bottom of the figure for the embossed "Funko" logo and ensure the paint application is clean without significant bleeding, as poor paint quality is a common indicator of counterfeits. If the packaging features a holographic sticker, you can scan the QR code on it using the Funko app to verify the product's authenticity, though note that the absence of a sticker does not automatically mean the item is fake.
The Leafeon Pop! Games was released in 2022 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Leafeon Pop! Games figure, which was released in 2022. It is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from Funko or major retail partners. Collectors looking to acquire this item must rely on the secondary market, such as eBay or specialized toy resellers, where availability and pricing fluctuate based on demand.
To grade a Leafeon Pop! Games figure, you should first inspect the vinyl surface for common defects such as mold lines, paint overspray, or scratches, paying close attention to the leaf details and eyes. If you intend to submit it for a professional grade, the figure must be placed in its original sealed box, which is then sent to a third-party grading service like PSA, Beckett, or CGC for evaluation. These services will assign a numerical grade based on the condition of both the figure and the packaging, which significantly impacts its market value.
