No, the Leatherface Pop! Movies (SKU 1119) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the 2021 release wave that was widely distributed to major retailers and online marketplaces. Because it was produced in large quantities and remains readily available in both new and used condition, it does not possess the scarcity required to be classified as a rare collectible.
The value of the 2021 Funko Pop! Movies Leatherface (SKU 1119) fluctuates based on condition and market demand, but it typically sells for between $10 and $15 in new-in-box condition. Used copies generally command a lower price, often ranging from $5 to $10. For the most accurate current valuation, checking recent completed sales on secondary marketplaces like eBay is recommended.
To authenticate your 2021 Leatherface Pop! Movies (SKU 1119), verify that the box displays the official Funko logo, the correct SKU number, and a barcode that matches the product listing. Inspect the figure for consistent paint application, proper sculpting of the chainsaw and mask, and a clean, uncracked vinyl surface, as counterfeit items often exhibit sloppy detailing or off-color plastics. If you purchased the item from an authorized retailer, it is highly likely to be genuine, but you can cross-reference the packaging details with Funko’s official product database for further confirmation.
The Leatherface Pop! Movies was released in 2021 by Funko.
Funko does not publish a public, real-time list of which specific Pop! figures are currently in print versus out of print. While the Leatherface Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1119) was released in 2021, its current production status can change frequently based on inventory levels and licensing agreements. To determine if it is available new, you should check the "In Stock" status on major retailers like Amazon, Target, or the official Funko website, as these platforms reflect immediate availability.
Grading a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl figure for manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seams, or mold lines, as well as checking the acrylic dome for cracks, scratches, or cloudiness. You should also verify that the figure is properly seated and that any accessories are intact and free from damage. While professional grading services like PSA can assign a numerical condition score, most collectors simply assess the item visually against the original box to determine if it is in mint, near-mint, or played-with condition.
