No, the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar 2020 (set 75279) is not considered rare. To authenticate your LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar 2020 (set 75279), first verify that the set number is printed on the box and that the packaging displays the official LEGO logo and "Made in" country code, which is typically Mexico for this release. Inspect the physical components for high-quality molding, consistent color saturation, and the presence of the LEGO logo on the studs, as counterfeits often feature blurry printing, uneven textures, or missing logos. You can also cross-reference the box art and included minifigure details against official LEGO product images, noting that genuine sets include a numbered instruction booklet and a certificate of authenticity if applicable. If the packaging feels flimsy, the colors are dull, or the plastic has a rough texture, it is likely a replica.
The LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar 2020 was released in 2020 by Lego.
The LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar 2020 (set 75279) is discontinued and no longer in print. It is not available to buy new from LEGO or authorized retailers, and current listings for this item are typically for used or pre-owned copies.
Grading a LEGO Advent calendar is primarily a condition check of the packaging and the completeness of the contents, as the items are not typically graded by professional third-party services like coins or cards. You should inspect the box for significant damage, creases, or missing flaps, and verify that all 24 numbered bags are present and unopened if you are selling it as new. If the calendar has been opened, the value drops significantly, and you must account for any missing minifigures, parts, or instruction booklets.
