Common questions about the Lemon Sour Patch Kid Pop! Candy from Funko (2019).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Lemon Sour Patch Kid Pop! Candy is not considered rare. It was part of a large-scale, limited-time promotional partnership between Funko and Sour Patch Kids in 2019, resulting in a high production volume. These items were widely distributed in major retail stores and online, making them common and easily found in the secondary market.
The Lemon Sour Patch Kid Pop! Candy is a limited-edition promotional item, and its value is primarily driven by its novelty and condition rather than a standardized market price. Because these items were often given away free with candy purchases, they are relatively common, meaning a used copy typically has minimal monetary value, often worth only a few dollars to collectors. A sealed, unopened unit in pristine condition might command a slightly higher price, but there is no established retail baseline for this specific SKU.
I cannot provide reliable information to authenticate this specific item, as there is no widely recognized Funko Pop! vinyl figure named "Lemon Sour Patch Kid" in the manufacturer's standard catalog. It is highly likely that this item is a third-party novelty product, a custom resin cast, or a mislabeled listing rather than an official Funko release. To verify its authenticity, you should check the packaging for a legitimate Funko logo, a unique SKU number, and a holographic sticker, though the absence of these features on a non-standard character strongly suggests it is not an official product.
The Lemon Sour Patch Kid Pop! Candy was released in 2019 by Funko.
The Lemon Sour Patch Kid Pop! Candy is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. This item was part of a limited promotional collaboration with Sour Patch Kids and has been discontinued. Collectors seeking this specific figure must look for it on the secondary market, where prices may vary based on condition and availability.
It is not possible to grade a Lemon Sour Patch Kid Pop! Candy because it is a consumable food item, not a collectible vinyl figure. The product is a limited-edition candy that was sold in 2019 and is intended for consumption, so it does not have a market value based on physical condition or grading scales used for toys. If you are looking to grade a Funko Pop! figure, you would need to inspect the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, and box condition, but this process does not apply to the candy itself.
