No, the Lex Luthor Pop! Heroes (SKU 472) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure released by Funko in 2023 as part of the regular DC Comics line, meaning it was widely distributed and is generally easy to find in retail stores and online marketplaces.
The value of the 2023 Lex Luthor Pop! Heroes (SKU 472) fluctuates based on market demand and condition, but it typically sells for between $10 and $20 in retail stores. On the secondary market, prices generally range from $15 to $25 for a sealed figure, with higher prices possible if the item is part of a complete set or has limited availability.
You can authenticate your Funko Pop! by checking the box for the official Funko logo, a clear copyright symbol, and a barcode that matches the SKU 472. The figure itself should have a smooth, uniform paint job with no visible air bubbles, sharp edges, or loose parts, and the base should be securely attached. If the packaging feels flimsy, the colors are faded, or the figure has a strong chemical smell, it is likely a counterfeit.
The Lex Luthor Pop! Heroes was released in 2023 by Funko.
The Lex Luthor Pop! Heroes figure (SKU 472) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new directly from Funko. As a 2023 release, it has been discontinued, meaning new stock is no longer produced or sold through official retail channels. Collectors seeking this item must look to secondary markets, where availability and pricing fluctuate based on demand.
To condition-check a Lex Luthor Pop! Heroes figure, inspect the vinyl surface under bright light for common defects such as hairline cracks, mold lines, or paint imperfections on the face and hands. Verify that the head is properly aligned with the body and that the eyes are intact, as these are frequent points of failure. While you can perform a basic visual inspection at home, obtaining an official grade from a third-party service like PSA or CGC is the only way to receive a standardized condition score that reflects market value.
