No, the Lightning Pop! Heroes (SKU 427) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the 2021 release cycle that was widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. While specific color variants may have lower print runs, the base model is a common item in the Funko Pop! catalog.
The value of a 2021 Funko Pop! Heroes Lightning (SKU 427) varies significantly based on condition, packaging, and market demand, but it typically sells for between $15 and $30 in the secondary market. Prices can fluctuate, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay or StockX is the most reliable way to determine its current worth.
To authenticate your Funko Lightning Pop! Heroes (SKU 427), first verify that the box is sealed with a holographic sticker and that the figure itself has the correct weight and solid feel typical of genuine vinyl. Check the base of the figure for a clear, crisp "Funko" logo and the specific SKU number, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing, uneven seams, or off-color paint. You can also compare the packaging details, such as the font and logo placement, against high-resolution images from Funko's official website or reputable retail partners to identify any discrepancies.
The Lightning Pop! Heroes was released in 2021 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Lightning Pop! Heroes vinyl figure, so it is no longer in print or available to purchase new from official retailers. The item is considered out of production, meaning any remaining stock is limited to third-party sellers or the secondary market.
There is no standardized professional grading service for individual Funko Pop! figures, so you cannot obtain a certified grade for a single unit. To condition-check the item, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, and verify that the figure is securely seated within its original packaging. If the box is present, check for creases, tears, or fading, as the condition of the packaging significantly impacts the item's value.
