Common questions about the Lightning Pop! Movies from Funko (2015).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Lightning Pop! Movies figure (SKU 156) is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-produced release from Funko's 2015 lineup. Being a common retail item, it is widely available in both new and used condition, and its value typically remains low compared to limited edition or exclusive variants.
The value of a 2015 Funko Pop! Lightning McQueen (SKU 156) varies significantly based on condition and packaging. A sealed figure in mint condition typically sells for approximately $15 to $25, while an unboxed figure in good condition generally ranges from $5 to $10. Prices for this specific item can fluctuate based on current market demand and the availability of new production runs.
There is no widely recognized Funko Pop! product line specifically named "Lightning Pop! Movies" associated with SKU 156 from 2015. SKU 156 in the standard Funko Pop! catalog typically corresponds to a specific character figure (such as a Marvel or DC character) rather than a "Lightning" series, suggesting the item may be a mislabeled standard figure, a third-party reproduction, or a non-existent product. To authenticate a Funko figure, you should verify the SKU number against the official Funko website or reputable collector databases and inspect the packaging for the official Funko logo, holographic stickers, and correct font typography, as counterfeit items often feature poor print quality and missing security features.
The Lightning Pop! Movies was released in 2015 by Funko.
The Lightning Pop! Movies figure (SKU 156) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. It was part of the initial wave of the Pop! Movies line released in 2015, and production of that specific figure has ceased. Collectors seeking a new copy must look for sealed stock from secondary markets, which is typically limited and often commands a premium price.
To condition-check a Lightning Pop! Movies figure, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint loss, paying close attention to the eyes and any metallic accents. Verify that the figure is securely attached to its base and that the original packaging is intact, free of tears, creases, or water damage, as these factors significantly impact value. For a formal grade, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service, though most collectors rely on visual inspection and the presence of the original box for casual valuation.
