No, the Little Whirlwind Mickey Pop! (SKU 432) is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the Disney Pop! line that was widely available through major retailers and Funko's own distribution channels. While specific color variants or limited-edition releases of a character can become scarce, this specific SKU is a common, mass-produced collectible.
The value of a Little Whirlwind Mickey Pop! (SKU 432) varies significantly based on condition, with unopened figures typically selling for between $10 and $20 on the secondary market. Opened figures in good condition generally range from $5 to $10, while damaged or heavily worn copies may sell for less. Prices can fluctuate depending on current demand and the specific platform used for sale.
The most reliable way to authenticate a Funko Pop! is to verify that the box is sealed with the original shrink wrap and that the product matches the official Funko catalog image for SKU 432. Check the bottom of the figure for a molded copyright symbol and the year of manufacture, which should align with the release period for the Little Whirlwind Mickey series. If the paint is uneven, the plastic feels brittle, or the eyes are misaligned, the item is likely a counterfeit. For definitive confirmation, you can contact Funko directly with photos of the item and its packaging.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the specific release date for the Little Whirlwind Mickey Pop! Disney (SKU 432). While Funko Pop! figures are typically released in waves throughout the year, exact dates for this specific SKU are not consistently documented in available public records.
The Little Whirlwind Mickey Pop! (SKU 432) is currently out of print and is no longer produced by Funko. It is generally unavailable as a new item from official retailers, meaning collectors typically must seek out used copies on the secondary market.
Grading a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, seams, scratches, or chipped plastic, with particular attention to the "Little Whirlwind" accessory which can be prone to breakage. For a formal grade, you must submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score from 1 to 10 based on its condition. If you are checking the condition yourself, examine the figure under bright light and verify that the original box and any included inserts are present and undamaged, as these significantly impact the item's value.
