Common questions about the Lloyd Christmas (Skiing) Pop! Movies from Funko (2020).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Lloyd Christmas (Skiing) Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run released by Funko in 2020. Like most standard edition vinyl figures from that period, it was widely available through major retailers and has a large production volume, making it relatively easy to find in new or used condition.
The Lloyd Christmas (Skiing) Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1043) is a standard retail release from 2020, and its value is typically determined by its condition and whether it remains in the original sealed box. As a common item from a major film franchise, it generally trades at or near its original retail price, with sealed copies often commanding a slight premium over loose figures. Specific market fluctuations can occur based on local demand, but it is not considered a rare or high-value collectible.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Lloyd Christmas (Skiing) figure, first verify that the box is sealed with a holographic sticker and that the figure itself displays the correct SKU 1043 on the packaging. Inspect the vinyl for consistent molding, sharp paint lines, and the official Funko logo on the base, as counterfeit items often feature blurry printing or poor articulation. If the figure appears to be a "chase" variant, ensure the packaging explicitly states this, as the standard 2020 release is a solid white vinyl figure. For definitive confirmation, cross-reference the item with Funko's official product database or consult a certified authentication service if significant discrepancies are found.

You can grade this figure by submitting it to a third-party certification service such as PSA, CGC, or Beckett, which will inspect the item and assign a numerical score based on its condition. If you prefer to evaluate it yourself, check for common defects like paint transfer, chipped plastic, or misaligned eyes, and compare the figure against high-resolution photos of a known perfect example. Keep in mind that standard Pop! figures are typically sold in sealed boxes, so grading is most relevant for unboxed items where the physical condition of the vinyl is the primary value driver.
