Common questions about the Locutus of Borg Pop! Movies from Funko (2024).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Locutus of Borg Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item released in 2024. It is widely available through major retailers and the Funko website, meaning it does not possess the limited production numbers or exclusive distribution status typically associated with rare collectibles.
The value of the 2024 Locutus of Borg Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1708) typically ranges from $10 to $15 for a new, unopened box, which is close to its original retail price. Because this is a recent release, the secondary market has not yet established a significant premium, and prices generally fluctuate based on local availability and shipping costs.
To authenticate your Locutus of Borg Pop! Movies (SKU 1708), first verify that the figure has a distinct, raised "F" logo on the bottom of the base, which is a standard hallmark for genuine Funko products. Check the packaging for high-quality printing, a scannable barcode, and a holographic sticker, as counterfeit items often feature blurry text, poor color saturation, or missing security features. Additionally, examine the vinyl for smooth, consistent molding without visible seams or air bubbles, and ensure the paint application is precise without smudging. If the figure lacks these specific manufacturing details, it is likely a counterfeit.
The Locutus of Borg Pop! Movies was released in 2024 by Funko.
Funko does not publicly disclose specific print run sizes or definitive end-of-production dates for individual figures, making it difficult to confirm with absolute certainty if the 2024 Locutus of Borg Pop! is currently out of print. However, because this figure was released as part of a standard 2024 production cycle, it is likely still available for purchase new through major retailers such as Amazon, Target, or the official Funko website, though stock levels may fluctuate.
Funko Pop! figures are not officially graded by major third-party authentication services like PSA or Beckett, so there is no standardized numerical grading scale for them. To condition-check a Locutus of Borg figure, you should inspect it for common defects such as paint chips, seam lines, missing eyes, or damage to the Borg cube base. The most reliable way to verify condition is to compare the specific item against high-resolution photos of a known good example from a reputable retailer or collector.
