Common questions about the Lorraine Pop! Movies from Funko (2018).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Lorraine Pop! Movies figure (SKU 566) is not considered rare. It was a standard mass-production release from 2018 and remains widely available in the secondary market. Collectors generally categorize it as a common item due to its high initial print run and continued availability.
The Lorraine Pop! Movies figure (SKU 566) is a standard retail release from 2018, and its value depends heavily on condition and packaging. In the secondary market, these figures typically sell for between $5 and $10 when new in box, while loose copies generally fetch significantly less, often under $5. Prices can fluctuate based on current demand for the *Get Out* franchise, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay provides the most accurate real-time valuation.
To authenticate your Lorraine Pop! Movies (SKU 566), first verify that the figure is manufactured by Funko and check the copyright date on the base, which should align with the 2018 release year. Examine the paint application and sculpting quality, as genuine Funko products typically have clean lines and consistent coloring, whereas counterfeits often feature sloppy details or off-brand fonts on the packaging. While there is no single definitive test for authenticity, comparing the figure side-by-side with high-resolution images of verified examples from reputable collectors or the official Funko website is the most reliable method to identify discrepancies.
The Lorraine Pop! Movies was released in 2018 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Lorraine Pop! Movies figure (SKU 566), so it is no longer in print. You will not be able to purchase a new, factory-sealed unit directly from Funko or major retail partners. This item is now only available through the secondary market, such as eBay or specialized collectible shops, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
To condition-check a Lorraine Pop! Movies figure, inspect the vinyl surface for any scratches, scuffs, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the face and hair details. Verify that the figure is fully intact with no missing parts, such as the base or accessories, and ensure the paint is not chipped. If you are seeking a formal grade for resale, you must send the unopened box to a third-party authentication service like PSA, as grading individual loose figures is not standard practice for this type of collectible.
