Common questions about the Luau Timon Pop! Disney from Funko (2018).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Luau Timon Pop! (SKU 500) is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard retail release for the Disney collection in 2018. It was widely distributed through major retailers and remains readily available on the secondary market, meaning it does not carry the scarcity premium associated with limited edition or chase variants.
The Luau Timon Pop! (SKU 500) is a common 2018 release that typically retails for approximately $9 to $12 in new, sealed condition. Because it is a standard production item with high availability, it does not command a significant premium on the secondary market, and used copies are generally worth less than the retail price.
To authenticate your Luau Timon Pop! Disney, first verify that the box displays the correct SKU 500 and the 2018 release date, as these details align with the official product listing. Examine the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting, and a smooth finish, since counterfeit items often exhibit sloppy molding or faded colors. Additionally, check the bottom of the figure for a clear, legible Funko logo and copyright stamp, which are frequently missing or poorly reproduced on fakes. If the packaging and figure quality appear consistent with these markers, the item is likely genuine.
The Luau Timon Pop! Disney was released in 2018 by Funko.
The Luau Timon Pop! (SKU 500) is considered out of print and is no longer available to purchase new from Funko or major retail partners. Because it was released in 2018 and has not been reissued, the only way to acquire one is through the secondary market, such as eBay or other collectibles resellers.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for common defects such as paint overspray, chipped plastic, or misaligned eyes, while also verifying that the box is free from significant damage, fading, or tampering. For a formal grade, you must submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will evaluate the figure and its packaging on a 10-point scale. Be aware that grading fees and turnaround times vary, and the process is irreversible, so only submit items you are confident are in high condition.
