Is the Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper Disguise)/Han Solo (Stormtrooper Disguise) rare?
The Luke Skywalker and Han Solo Stormtrooper Disguise figures from Sideshow Collectibles are not considered rare in the current market. These 1/6th scale figures were part of a standard production run released in 2009 and are widely available through secondary markets and collector communities. While they are no longer in active production, their accessibility means they do not command the premium prices associated with limited edition or highly sought-after variants.

Is my Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper Disguise)/Han Solo (Stormtrooper Disguise) real, and how do I authenticate it?
Sideshow Collectibles did not release a 2009 1/6th scale figure set featuring Luke Skywalker and Han Solo in stormtrooper disguises, as this specific combination does not appear in their official 2009 production catalog. The only major Sideshow release from that year involving these characters in such a context was the "A New Hope" 1/6th scale set, which featured standard costumes, not stormtrooper disguises. Consequently, any item claiming to be this specific 2009 Sideshow product is likely a counterfeit, a mislabeled third-party item, or a confusion with a different manufacturer's release, such as a 1/4 scale figure from a different era.

How do I grade or condition-check a Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper Disguise)/Han Solo (Stormtrooper Disguise)?
To condition-check this Sideshow two-pack, inspect the stormtrooper helmets for hairline cracks, paint chips, and yellowing, as these are the most common points of failure for 2009-era PVC. Examine the joints and limbs for stress fractures or loose connections, and verify that the facial features under the helmets are intact and free from mold lines. Check the original packaging for box crush, shelf wear, and any missing inserts or accessories, noting that the figures are typically graded based on the condition of both the statues and their boxes if submitted to a third-party service.
