The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Lydia Deetz Pop! Movies figure (SKU 642) is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the 2018 *Beetlejuice* movie line, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and remains widely available through secondary markets and retail channels.
The value of the 2018 Lydia Deetz Pop! Movies figure (SKU 642) depends heavily on its condition and packaging. A sealed, unopened figure in a pristine box typically sells for between $10 and $20, while an opened figure is generally worth less, often around $5 to $10. Prices can fluctuate based on current market demand and the specific condition of the box, so checking recent completed sales on platforms like eBay is the most reliable way to determine its current market value.
The most reliable way to authenticate your Funko Pop! is by verifying the packaging, as genuine items from 2018 should feature the standard box with the Funko logo, the character name, and a barcode that matches the SKU 642. Check the physical figure for consistent paint application, proper seam alignment, and the correct height, which is typically around 3.75 inches for standard Movies series figures. If the box is missing, you can compare the figure's proportions and material quality against verified listings for SKU 642, though the absence of original packaging significantly reduces its verifiability and market value.
The Lydia Deetz Pop! Movies was released in 2018 by Funko.
The Lydia Deetz Pop! Movies figure (SKU 642) is currently out of print and is no longer available for purchase new directly from Funko. While it may occasionally appear in the secondary market through resellers, it is not part of Funko's current production lineup.
To condition-check a Lydia Deetz Pop! Movies figure, inspect the vinyl surface for any visible scratches, scuffs, or paint imperfections under bright, direct light. Verify that the figure is securely seated in its window box and that the box itself is free from creases, tears, or significant fading, as these factors significantly impact resale value. If you require a formal grade for insurance or high-stakes sales, you should submit the item to a third-party grading service, though this is rarely necessary for standard collectible transactions.
