I cannot verify the authenticity of a specific physical item without examining it in person. To authenticate a Hot Toys Magneto figure, you should inspect the packaging for high-quality printing, check the articulation points for smooth movement, and compare the sculpting details against official reference images from Hot Toys. Additionally, verify that the SKU 912978 and MPN HS02 match the official product listings for the 2024 release, as discrepancies in these codes often indicate counterfeit products.

I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Hot Toys Magneto (SKU 912978) is currently in print or available for purchase as a new item. Hot Toys typically produces limited edition figures that are not continuously restocked, so this specific model is likely out of production. I recommend checking authorized retailers or the secondary market for availability.
Grading a Hot Toys Magneto involves inspecting the figure for common wear points such as paint transfer on the hands and feet, stress fractures on the joints, and scratches on the sculpt. You should also verify that all included accessories, such as the base and effects, are intact and free from damage. While Hot Toys figures are generally not submitted to third-party grading services like PSA for encapsulation, you can assess their condition by comparing them against the original retail packaging and manufacturer specifications.
