The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Marceline (with guitar) Pop! Television figure is not considered rare. It was part of a standard retail release for the Adventure Time franchise and was widely available in stores and online during its production window. While sealed copies may command a higher price due to age, the figure itself is a common item in the collectible market.
The retail value for a new, sealed Funko Pop! Marceline (with guitar) #301 is typically around $12.99, while the used market price generally ranges from $5 to $10 depending on the condition of the figure and box. As a standard production item from 2015, it does not carry significant collector premium value compared to limited editions or exclusive variants.
To authenticate your 2015 Marceline Pop! Television figure, verify that the packaging displays the official Funko logo and the correct SKU number 301 on the box. Inspect the vinyl for consistent molding, sharp details, and the specific paint application characteristic of the 2015 production run, ensuring the guitar accessory is securely attached and proportionate to the figure. While there is no single definitive serial number for this specific item, comparing the weight, color saturation, and plastic texture against a known genuine example is the most reliable method for confirming authenticity.
The Marceline (with guitar) Pop! Television was released in 2015 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Marceline (with guitar) Pop! Television figure, so it is no longer in print. You will not be able to purchase this specific item new from official Funko retailers. It is currently only available through the secondary market, such as resale platforms or collector communities, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
To condition-check this figure, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and signs of fading, paying close attention to the guitar strings and Marceline’s hair, which are prone to snapping. Verify that the eyes are properly aligned and free of cloudiness, and ensure the base is clean and undamaged. Since this is a 2015 release, check for yellowing of the white vinyl components and confirm that the packaging, if present, is intact and free of tears or creases.
