No, the Mariah Carey Pop! Rocks figure is not considered rare. It was a standard production item released by Funko in 2018 and was widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. While specific variants like Chase figures are rare, the standard SKU 85 is a common collectible that is frequently found in new or used condition.
The Mariah Carey Pop! Rocks (SKU 85) is a standard mass-produced vinyl figure that typically retails for under $10 and generally holds little value above that price point on the secondary market. Because it is not a limited edition or exclusive release, its worth is largely determined by current retail availability rather than collector demand. You can expect to find this item for around $5 to $10 in good condition, with prices rarely exceeding that range unless the figure is part of a complete, sealed set.
To authenticate your Mariah Carey Pop! Rocks, verify that the figure is approximately 3.75 inches tall and features the standard vinyl material with a glossy finish typical of Funko's 2018 production. Check the base for the embossed "Funko" logo and ensure the packaging includes the correct SKU number 85 and the 2018 copyright date. Be aware that Pop! Rocks are licensed products, so minor paint imperfections or slight color variations are common in authentic items and do not necessarily indicate a counterfeit.
The Mariah Carey Pop! Rocks was released in 2018 by Funko.
Funko Pop! Rocks are a discontinued product line, and the Mariah Carey figure (SKU 85) is no longer in print. Consequently, it is not available to buy new from Funko or authorized retailers, and collectors must seek out used copies on the secondary market.
Condition-checking a Mariah Carey Pop! Rocks primarily involves inspecting the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or mold lines, as well as verifying that the packaging is free from significant shelf wear, dents, or creases. Because Pop! Rocks are mass-produced vinyl items, they are not typically submitted to professional third-party grading services like PSA, which generally focus on trading cards, comics, and high-value collectibles. For most collectors, the item's value is determined by its visual condition and the integrity of its original box, so a thorough visual inspection under good lighting is the standard method for assessment.
