The specific Funko Pop! "Marty Checking Watch" (SKU 965) from the *Back to the Future* line is a common retail item, and its value is typically determined by its condition and whether it is in the box. As of current market trends, an unboxed, sealed figure generally sells for between $15 and $25, while an opened figure usually fetches between $8 and $15. Prices can fluctuate based on local availability and demand, so checking recent sales on platforms like eBay or StockX is recommended for the most accurate current valuation.
I cannot determine the authenticity of a specific physical item without examining it in person, as I do not have access to your product. To authenticate a Funko Pop!, you should verify that the packaging is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and check that the figure's paint, proportions, and base match the official 2020 release specifications for the Marty McFly character. If the item was purchased from a third-party reseller, you can also compare the SKU and manufacturing details against Funko's official product listings to ensure consistency.

Funko has discontinued the Marty Checking Watch Pop! Movies figure, so it is no longer in print or available to purchase new directly from the manufacturer. While the item may occasionally appear on secondary markets like eBay or Amazon, these listings typically represent used inventory or third-party stock rather than new production.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! figure like the Marty Checking Watch variant primarily involves inspecting the vinyl for surface defects such as mold lines, paint overspray, or scratches, which are common in mass-produced items. You should also verify that the figure is securely seated in the base and that the head articulation is intact, as loose heads are a frequent issue with this line. While third-party grading services like PSA do exist for collectibles, they are rarely used for standard vinyl figures due to the cost relative to the item's value, so most collectors rely on visual inspection and high-resolution photos to assess condition.
