To authenticate your Marty McFly Pop! (SKU 961), first verify the packaging for the correct Funko logo, barcode, and "Made in China" marking. Inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp edges, and the standard Pop! base with the Funko logo embossed on the bottom. Check that the puffy vest texture is uniform and the figure stands level; any warping, off-center eyes, or loose joints suggest a counterfeit. To condition-check this figure, inspect the puffy vest for any creases, tears, or discoloration, as this specific accessory is more susceptible to wear than standard vinyl parts. Examine the vinyl body for hairline cracks, paint chips, or scuffs, paying close attention to the face and hands. Verify that the figure is securely seated in its original box and that the window is free of scratches or fogging, which can obscure defects. If you are seeking a formal grade, submit the figure to a third-party grading service like PSA or Beckett, which will assign a numerical grade based on the condition of the vinyl, accessories, and packaging.
