The Marty McFly with Glasses Pop! Vinyl is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the 2020 release of the Back to the Future series, meaning it was widely distributed and is generally easy to find in retail stores or on secondary markets.
The standard retail price for the 2020 Marty with Glasses Pop! Movies figure (SKU 958) is typically around $12.99. As a common release from a major franchise, its secondary market value generally remains close to retail price, often ranging between $10 and $15 depending on the condition of the box and figure.
To authenticate your Marty McFly Pop! (SKU 958), first verify that the figure is approximately 3.75 inches tall and features the correct 1985 attire, including the leather jacket and glasses. Check the bottom of the base for the embossed "Funko" logo and the specific SKU number, which should be clearly legible. Inspect the paint application for consistency, as counterfeit figures often exhibit sloppy detailing, misaligned eyes, or plastic that feels lighter and less dense than the original. If the packaging is included, ensure the box is sealed with the correct holographic sticker and that the printed SKU matches the figure.

The Marty with Glasses Pop! Movies figure (SKU 958) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. It was part of a limited release tied to the 2020 *Back to the Future* 35th-anniversary celebration, and production has ceased. Collectors must purchase this item from the secondary market, such as eBay or other resale platforms, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
Grading a Funko Pop! figure like the Marty with Glasses (SKU 958) involves inspecting the vinyl for manufacturing defects such as seam lines, flash, or paint overspray, as well as checking for post-production damage like scratches, chips, or discoloration. For a formal grade, you would submit the figure to a third-party grading service like PSA, which evaluates the item on a 1-10 scale based on its condition relative to other examples of the same SKU. Keep in mind that standard grading services typically do not grade loose vinyl figures, so you would likely need to have the item professionally graded in its original, unopened box to receive a certified grade.
