No, the Mary Poppins Pop! Rides (SKU 300) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the 2023 Disney Pop! Rides series, which was widely distributed to major retailers and sold in large quantities. While specific color variants or exclusive releases from this line can be harder to find, the base figure remains a common collectible.
The Mary Poppins Pop! Rides (SKU 300) is a standard retail Funko Pop! figure that typically sells for around $12 to $15 in new, sealed condition. Because it is a common release from a major franchise, it does not carry a significant premium over its original retail price. Value generally remains stable or depreciates slightly in the secondary market unless the figure is part of a complete set or has a specific manufacturing defect.
Funko Pop! figures do not have individual serial numbers, so authenticity is determined by examining manufacturing quality rather than unique identifiers. Look for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct "Funko" logo on the base, as counterfeit figures often feature blurry printing, uneven seams, or off-color plastics. While there is no official verification service for individual items, you can compare your figure to high-resolution images of the genuine SKU 300 from the 2023 release to spot discrepancies in the ride accessory or character pose.
The Mary Poppins Pop! Rides was released in 2023 by Funko.
Funko does not publicly disclose specific print run statuses or discontinuation dates for individual figures, so it is not possible to confirm with certainty if the Mary Poppins Pop! Rides (SKU 300) is currently in print. Availability for new purchases fluctuates frequently based on retailer inventory and production schedules. To determine current availability, you should check the official Funko website or major authorized retailers directly.
Condition-checking a Mary Poppins Pop! Rides figure primarily involves inspecting the paint application on the character and the ride vehicle for any chipping, smudging, or air bubbles. You should also examine the plastic for stress cracks, particularly around the joints where the figure attaches to the ride, and verify that the eyes are properly aligned and free of defects. Since these figures are typically sold in sealed boxes, the condition of the packaging, including the window and box corners, is also a standard part of the grading process for collectors.
