Common questions about the Mary Poppins (with Umbrella) Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Mary Poppins (with Umbrella) Pop! Disney figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from the Disney line that has been widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels. While specific color variants or limited editions may have lower production numbers, the standard SKU 470 figure is a common collectible.
The Mary Poppins (with Umbrella) Pop! Disney figure (SKU 470) typically retails for approximately $10 to $12. As a standard, non-limited edition vinyl figure from a major franchise, its secondary market value generally remains close to its retail price, with sealed copies occasionally fetching a slight premium while open figures often sell at a discount.
To authenticate your Mary Poppins (with Umbrella) Pop! Disney (SKU 470), first verify that the box is sealed with a holographic sticker and that the figure itself has a smooth, consistent paint job without visible mold lines or rough edges. Check the base of the figure for a clear, legible copyright symbol and the year of manufacture, which should align with the release date of the specific wave. Additionally, compare the proportions and accessory details, such as the umbrella's shape and the dress's pleats, against high-resolution images from the official Funko website, as counterfeit figures often feature distorted features or low-quality plastic. If the item lacks these standard manufacturing markers or the packaging appears off-brand, it is likely a replica.
Funko does not publicly disclose specific release dates for individual Pop! Vinyl figures in their official documentation. While the Mary Poppins (with Umbrella) figure (SKU 470) is part of the Disney line, the exact launch date is not reliably recorded in standard manufacturer data.
Funko has discontinued the Mary Poppins (with Umbrella) Pop! Disney (SKU 470), so it is no longer in print. This figure is no longer available for purchase new from Funko's official website or major retail partners. You can only find this item through the secondary market, such as resale platforms or collectibles dealers, where prices are typically higher than the original retail value.
To condition-check this figure, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or molding defects, paying close attention to the umbrella and dress details which are prone to wear. Verify that the eyes are properly aligned and that the figure stands upright without significant wobble, as base stability is a key indicator of manufacturing quality. For formal grading, you can submit the item to a third-party grading service, though most collectors simply assess it visually against a "mint" reference to determine its value.
