Common questions about the Mary Sanderson (Flying) Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Mary Sanderson (Flying) Pop! is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the Hocus Pocus line that was widely available in retail stores and online marketplaces. While specific production runs may vary by region, this item does not have the limited print status or scarcity associated with exclusive or discontinued Funko releases.
The Mary Sanderson (Flying) Pop! Disney (SKU 772) is a standard retail item that typically trades at or near its original retail price, generally ranging between $10 and $15 for new, sealed figures. Because this is not a limited edition or highly sought-after variant, its value does not significantly exceed its retail cost unless the figure is in a rare, unopened condition with intact packaging.
To authenticate your Mary Sanderson (Flying) Pop! (SKU 772), first verify that the box is sealed with the correct Funko logo and that the figure itself matches official product images regarding paint application, sculpt details, and the specific flying pose. Check the base of the figure for a clear, legible "Funko" logo and ensure the plastic has the standard matte finish typical of genuine Pop! vinyl. If the packaging feels flimsy, the colors are off, or the sculpt appears poorly molded, it is likely a counterfeit, and you should compare it directly against high-resolution photos from Funko's official website or authorized retailers.
I cannot find reliable information confirming the specific release date for the Mary Sanderson (Flying) Pop! Disney figure with SKU 772. While Funko Pop! figures are typically released in waves throughout the year, exact dates for individual SKUs are not consistently documented in public records.
Funko has discontinued the Mary Sanderson (Flying) Pop! Disney figure, so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. This item is now considered out of print, meaning availability is limited to the secondary market where prices may fluctuate based on condition and demand.
To condition-check a Mary Sanderson (Flying) Pop! Disney, first inspect the vinyl figure for any cracks, chips, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the broom and the character's facial features. Next, examine the box for signs of wear, such as dings, creases, or faded printing, as the packaging is a significant factor in the item's value. If you are seeking a professional grade, you can submit the sealed figure to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on the condition of both the figure and its box.
