Common questions about the Master Chief with Active Camo Pop! Halo from Funko (2018).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Master Chief with Active Camo Pop! (Halo #12) is not considered rare, as it was part of the standard 2018 Halo collection and was widely distributed through major retail channels. It is a common base model figure that remains readily available on the secondary market, typically commanding a price close to its original retail value.
The value of a Master Chief with Active Camo Pop! (Halo #12) from 2018 fluctuates based on condition, but it typically sells for between $10 and $20 when new in box. Because this is a standard, widely produced figure from a popular franchise, it does not command a significant premium over its original retail price. Prices can vary slightly depending on the specific marketplace and current demand.
Authenticating a 2018 Funko Pop! requires checking the box for a holographic sticker, a barcode, and the "Funko" logo, as well as verifying the figure's paint quality and the presence of a copyright date on the base. Be aware that the "Active Camo" description is likely a misnomer for the standard Master Chief figure, as Funko has not produced a specific "Active Camo" variant for this SKU; the 2018 release typically features the standard green armor. If the figure lacks the standard box markings or has poor paint application, it may be a counterfeit, though definitive authentication often requires comparison against known genuine examples.
The Master Chief with Active Camo Pop! Halo was released in 2018 by Funko.
The Master Chief with Active Camo Pop! Vinyl figure (SKU 12) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. It is a discontinued item that is typically only found in the secondary market.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and mold lines, with particular attention to the glowing green Active Camo effect on the suit and visor. Verify that the figure is securely seated on the base and that the head is properly aligned without any visible gaps or stress marks. Since these figures are not officially graded by third-party services like PSA, their value is determined by their overall cosmetic condition and the integrity of the original packaging.
