No, the 2017 Maurice Pop! Movies figure (SKU 454) is not considered rare. It was a standard mass-production release from Funko's movie line and was widely available in retail stores and online during its production window. While sealed boxes may command a premium over loose figures, the item itself is common and easily found in the secondary market.
The value of a 2017 Funko Pop! Movies #454 Maurice figure varies significantly based on its condition and whether it is sealed in the box. Prices can fluctuate based on current market demand and the specific platform where the item is listed.
To authenticate your 2017 Funko Pop! Movies Maurice (SKU 454), first verify that the figure matches the official product images in terms of proportions, facial expression, and specific paint details. Check the base for the correct copyright year and the "Funko" logo, and ensure the packaging box has the appropriate UPC and barcode for that specific release. Be aware that the 2017 release of this character is relatively common, so high-quality counterfeits exist; if the vinyl feels unusually soft, the paint is smudged, or the box printing is blurry, the item is likely fake.
