Common questions about the Max Pop! Movies from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Max Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1469) is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-production release from Funko's 2023 catalog. These figures were widely distributed through major retail channels and online marketplaces, making them relatively easy to find in new condition.
The standard retail price for the Max Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1469) is typically around $12.99, though actual market value fluctuates based on condition and local availability. As a common, non-exclusive release from 2023, it does not command a significant premium over its original retail price in the secondary market.
To authenticate your Max Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1469), first verify that the box features the official Funko logo and the Max branding, as this item was a licensed collaboration released in 2023. Inspect the vinyl for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and a secure hinge on the head, as counterfeit figures often exhibit sloppy molding or misaligned parts. You can also cross-reference the specific SKU and release year against Funko’s official product listings to confirm the item matches the genuine release specifications.

To condition-check a Max Pop! Movies figure, inspect the vinyl surface under bright light for scratches, scuffs, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the face and hands which are prone to wear. Verify that the figure is securely attached to its base and that the base itself is free from cracks, chips, or discoloration. If the figure came with a window box, ensure the packaging is unopened and undamaged, as sealed boxes command higher value than loose figures.
