The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Mechagodzilla Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1076) is not considered rare, as it was a standard retail release from the 2021 Godzilla vs. Kong movie line. It was widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels during its production run, making it a common item for collectors of that specific franchise.
The value of a Funko Pop! Movies Mechagodzilla (SKU 1076) varies significantly based on condition, with unopened factory-sealed figures typically commanding a premium over loose ones. As a standard release from 2021, it is not a rare item, so its market price generally fluctuates between $10 and $25 for loose copies and $20 to $40 for sealed boxes, depending on current local demand. For the most accurate and up-to-date valuation, you should check recent completed sales on platforms like eBay or specialized collectibles marketplaces.
To authenticate your 2021 Mechagodzilla Pop! Movies figure (SKU 1076), verify that the box is sealed with the standard Funko shrink wrap and that the figure itself features the correct paint application, particularly on the glowing blue eyes and mechanical details. Check the bottom of the figure for the "Funko" logo and the specific SKU number 1076, which should be clearly printed. If the paint is sloppy, the plastic feels unusually lightweight, or the box lacks the standard Funko branding and barcode, it is likely a counterfeit. For definitive confirmation, you can compare the item against high-resolution images of the official release on Funko's website or consult a certified authentication service.

Funko has discontinued the Mechagodzilla Pop! Movies figure, so it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new directly from the manufacturer. While it may occasionally appear on secondary marketplaces like eBay or Amazon, availability is sporadic and prices are typically higher than the original retail cost.
Grading a Funko Pop! figure like the Mechagodzilla (SKU 1076) involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and seam lines, as well as checking the head for proper alignment and the eyes for any cloudiness. If you are seeking a professional grade, you should submit the figure to a third-party grading service such as PSA, which will evaluate the item on a 10-point scale based on its overall condition and assign a sealed, tamper-evident slab. For a casual condition check, simply compare the figure against high-resolution images of a known "mint" example to identify any visible defects in the paint or plastic.
