The Mechagodzilla Pop! Movies figure is not considered rare, as it was a standard mass-production release from Funko's 2021 lineup. It was widely available through major retail channels and online marketplaces during its release window. While specific variants like Chase editions may be harder to find, the standard SKU 1076 is generally accessible to collectors.
The Funko Pop! Movies Mechagodzilla (SKU 1076) is a standard production item from 2021, and its value is primarily determined by its condition and whether it remains sealed in its original box. As a common release, it typically sells for a modest price in the secondary market, generally ranging from $10 to $20 for a new, unopened figure. Prices for open or damaged copies will be significantly lower, and specific market fluctuations can occur based on local demand.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! Mechagodzilla (SKU 1076), first verify that the box is sealed with the official Funko holographic sticker and that the figure itself has the correct paint application, particularly on the mechanical joints and glowing eyes. Check the base of the figure for the embossed Funko logo and ensure the plastic has the standard matte finish without excessive seams or cloudiness. While there is no single definitive test for authenticity, comparing the figure's proportions and color accuracy against verified images of the 2021 release from the Godzilla vs. Kong movie line will help confirm it is a genuine product.

Collectors seeking this specific item must look for used copies on the secondary market, such as eBay or specialized trading platforms.
Condition-checking a Funko Pop! involves inspecting the figure for common manufacturing defects such as paint overspray, seam lines, or misaligned parts, while also verifying that the head is properly seated on the body. For a formal grade, you must submit the item to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will evaluate the figure's condition on a 10-point scale and encase it in a tamper-evident slab. Be aware that grading fees and turnaround times vary by service, and the final grade is subjective based on the grader's assessment of the item's flaws.
