No, the Merida (Gold) Pop! Disney is not considered rare. It is a standard mass-produced item released in 2022 as part of Funko's regular Disney lineup, meaning it was widely available and is not a limited edition or exclusive variant.
The retail value of the Merida (Gold) Pop! Disney (SKU 324) is typically around $12.99, which serves as a baseline for its worth. Because it is a standard gold variant rather than a limited edition, its secondary market value generally hovers near retail price, meaning it is rarely worth significantly more than its original cost unless sold as part of a complete set.
To authenticate your 2022 Merida (Gold) Pop! Vinyl, verify that the box features the standard Funko branding and displays the correct SKU number 324 on the side panel. Inspect the figure for high-quality paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the specific metallic gold finish characteristic of the Disney Gold series, as counterfeits often exhibit blurry printing or poor paint coverage. Additionally, check the bottom of the vinyl figure for a molded copyright mark and ensure the packaging includes the official Funko logo and safety warnings.

The Merida (Gold) Pop! Disney is no longer in print and is not available for purchase new from Funko. This specific gold variant was part of a limited production run, so it is now only obtainable through the secondary market.
To condition-check a Funko Pop!, inspect the vinyl surface under bright light for any scratches, scuffs, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the gold finish on Merida's hair and dress. Verify that the figure is seated correctly in the base without any gaps, and ensure the packaging is intact with no tears, creases, or water damage if you are evaluating it as a sealed item. For a formal grade, you would need to submit the figure to a third-party grading service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on these visual factors.
