The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
Merida Pop! Disney (SKU 57) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the 2013 Disney line, and while it is no longer in regular production, it remains relatively common on the secondary market.
The value of a Merida Pop! Disney figure depends heavily on its condition and whether it is in the original box. As a 2013 release, it is a common item, so unopened copies typically trade for around $10 to $15, while loose figures generally sell for $5 to $8. Prices can fluctuate based on current market demand and the specific retailer, so checking recent sales on platforms like eBay or StockX will give you the most accurate current market value.
The 2013 Merida Pop! (SKU 57) is a standard first-edition release, so authenticity checks should focus on the box seal, the vinyl weight, and the specific paint application on the braids and dress. Verify that the "Funko" logo on the box is crisp and that the figure's base is flat and unchipped, as these are common signs of counterfeits. If the packaging or figure feels unusually light or the paint is smudged, it may be a replica.
The Merida Pop! Disney was released in 2013 by Funko.
The Merida Pop! Disney (SKU 57) is currently out of print. It was released in 2013 and has since been discontinued by Funko, meaning it is no longer available for purchase as a new item from the manufacturer. Collectors typically need to seek out third-party sellers or secondary marketplaces to find remaining stock.
To grade a Merida Pop! Disney, inspect the vinyl figure for surface scratches, paint chips, or cracks, and check that the head is properly aligned with the body. Verify that the box is undamaged, unopened, and free of dents or tape residue, as the original packaging significantly impacts collectible value. Since this specific item is from 2013, also check for yellowing of the vinyl or fading of the printed artwork, which are common age-related defects.
