Common questions about the Merlin with Archimedes Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Merlin with Archimedes Pop! Disney (SKU 1100) is not considered a rare item. It is a standard production figure from the Disney line that was widely distributed and is currently available for purchase through major retailers and secondary markets. While specific production runs may vary by year, this figure does not carry the limited-edition status or scarcity associated with exclusive or retired rare variants.
The Merlin with Archimedes Pop! Disney (SKU 1100) is a standard production item that typically sells for its original retail price of approximately $12.99 USD when new in box. Because it is not a limited edition or exclusive variant, it does not command a significant premium on the secondary market, and used copies often trade for less than retail value.
To authenticate your Funko Pop! figure, first verify that the packaging includes the official Funko logo and a holographic sticker, which is standard for genuine releases. Inspect the figure itself for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and a smooth plastic finish, as counterfeit items often exhibit rough edges, misaligned parts, or low-quality paint. You can also cross-reference the specific SKU 1100 and the character design against official Funko product listings to ensure the proportions and color scheme match the authorized release. If the figure lacks these quality markers or the packaging appears generic, it is likely a counterfeit.
I cannot find reliable information confirming a specific release date for a Funko Pop! Disney figure with SKU 1100 featuring Merlin and Archimedes. While SKU 1100 is associated with the Disney line, the specific character combination and release timing for this exact variant are not clearly documented in available public records.
Funko has discontinued the Merlin with Archimedes Pop! (SKU 1100) and it is no longer in print. This figure is no longer available to purchase new from official Funko retail channels or their online store. You can only find this item through third-party resellers, which often results in significantly higher prices than the original retail value.
To condition-check a Merlin with Archimedes Pop! Disney, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, paint chips, or discoloration, paying close attention to the arches and the characters' faces. Verify that the figure is securely seated in its base and that the packaging is free from tears, creases, or water damage if you are evaluating it as a sealed item. While there is no standardized numerical grading scale for individual Pop! figures, their market value is primarily determined by the presence of these physical defects and the integrity of the original box.
