Common questions about the Mewtwo Pop! Games from Funko (2020 2020 2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Mewtwo Pop! Games figure is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item released by Funko in 2020 and re-released in 2023. It is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets, making it an easily accessible collectible for most buyers.
The value of a Mewtwo Pop! Games figure varies significantly based on its specific release year, condition, and whether it is sealed in its original box. As a standard retail collectible, these figures typically trade for between $10 and $25 in the secondary market, with unopened boxes generally commanding a higher price than loose figures. Specific limited editions or special variants released in 2023 may carry a premium, but standard production runs are widely available and do not hold significant investment value.
To authenticate your Mewtwo Pop! Games figure, first verify that the packaging includes a holographic Funko sticker and a scannable QR code that links to the official Funko website. Check the figure itself for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct "Funko" logo on the base, as counterfeits often exhibit blurry printing or uneven seams. Since this SKU was released in multiple waves between 2020 and 2023, ensure the box art and release date align with the specific version you purchased. If the figure lacks these security features or feels lightweight and poorly molded, it is likely a counterfeit.
The Mewtwo Pop! Games was released in 2020 2020 2023 by Funko.
The Mewtwo Pop! Games figure (SKU 581) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. This item was part of a limited production run and has been discontinued, meaning it can only be purchased on the secondary market.
To condition-check a Mewtwo Pop! Games figure, inspect the vinyl surface for scratches, scuffs, or paint loss, paying close attention to the eyes, claws, and tail tip where wear is most common. Verify that the figure is securely attached to the backing card and that the card itself is free from creases, water damage, or significant corner wear. Since these figures are not typically graded by major third-party services like PSA or CGC, their value is determined by their original retail condition and the integrity of the packaging.
