Common questions about the Mewtwo Pop! Games from Funko (2020 2020 2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Mewtwo Pop! Games figure (SKU 581) is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item from a widely distributed series. It was released in 2020 and has been reissued in subsequent years, meaning it remains readily available through major retailers and secondary markets.
The value of a Mewtwo Pop! Games figure varies significantly based on its condition, whether it is in the original box, and its specific release year. As a common mass-produced item, the standard retail price for these figures typically ranges from $10 to $15, and they generally do not command a premium in the secondary market unless they are part of a complete set or have unique features.
There is no official Funko Pop! Games figure with SKU 581, as that number corresponds to the standard Mewtwo Pop! Vinyl figure from the Pokémon line, not a specific "Games" variant. The year range provided (2020–2023) is also inconsistent with a single SKU, which typically refers to a specific production run. To authenticate a standard Mewtwo Pop!, verify that the figure has the correct Funko logo on the base, check for consistent paint application and plastic molding, and confirm the box matches the official 2019 release design for that SKU. If you possess a figure explicitly labeled as "Pop! Games," it is likely a third-party reproduction or a mislabeled item, as Funko does not produce a distinct "Games" sub-line for this character under that SKU.
The Mewtwo Pop! Games was released in 2020 2020 2023 by Funko.
The Mewtwo Pop! Games figure (SKU 581) is no longer in print and is not currently available for purchase new from Funko. As a 2020 release, it is considered out of production, meaning new stock is limited to any remaining inventory at third-party retailers, which is increasingly rare.
To condition-check a Mewtwo Pop! Games figure, inspect the vinyl surface for any cracks, chips, or paint imperfections, paying close attention to the eyes and mouth which are prone to defects. Verify that the figure is securely seated on its base and that the packaging is intact if you are evaluating it as a sealed item. For a formal grade, you must submit the figure to a professional third-party grading service such as PSA, which will assign a numerical score based on standardized criteria for paint, clarity, and structural integrity.
