Common questions about the Michael Burnham Pop! Television from Funko (2020).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Michael Burnham Pop! Television (SKU 1002) is not considered rare, as it was part of a standard mass-production run released in 2020. Being a regular production figure rather than a limited edition, exclusive, or chase variant, it is widely available in the secondary market.
The standard retail price for the Michael Burnham Pop! Television (SKU 1002) is typically around $12.99 USD. Its current market value for a new, sealed figure generally hovers between $10 and $15, depending on local availability and demand. Because this is a common release from a major franchise, it does not carry a significant premium over its original retail price.
Authenticating a 2020 Michael Burnham Pop! Television figure (SKU 1002) involves checking for consistent paint application, sharp molding details, and the correct Funko logo on the base. Genuine figures typically have a solid, uniform plastic feel without visible flash lines or loose parts, while counterfeits often exhibit sloppy paint, misaligned eyes, or flimsy construction. Since Funko does not provide individual certificates of authenticity for standard retail items, comparing your figure side-by-side with a known genuine example from a reputable retailer is the most reliable method for verification.
The Michael Burnham Pop! Television was released in 2020 by Funko.
The Michael Burnham Pop! Television (SKU 1002) is no longer in print and is not available to buy new from Funko. As a 2020 release, it has been discontinued, meaning new stock is no longer produced or sold by the manufacturer. Collectors seeking this figure must look for used copies on the secondary market.
To grade a Michael Burnham Pop! Television figure, you should evaluate the condition of the vinyl body, paint application, and packaging, looking for common defects such as chipped paint, scratches, or seam lines. For a professional grade, the item must be submitted to a third-party authentication service like PSA, which will assign a numerical score from 1 to 10 based on the figure's preservation and originality. If you are checking the condition yourself for resale, ensure the figure is unopened in its original sealed box, as opened figures generally hold significantly less value.
