Common questions about the Michael Jackson (Glitter Glove) Pop! Rocks from Funko (2023).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
Funko Pop! Rocks are generally mass-produced items intended for casual collection, so the Michael Jackson (Glitter Glove) variant is not considered rare. While specific production runs for 2023 may vary, these figures are widely available through standard retail channels and do not possess the scarcity of limited-edition vinyl figures.
The Michael Jackson (Glitter Glove) Pop! Rocks is a standard retail Funko product that typically sells for its original retail price, generally around $10 to $15, when new in box. Because it is a common mass-produced item from 2023, it does not hold significant collector value above retail, and used copies are often worth less than the original purchase price.
To authenticate your Michael Jackson (Glitter Glove) Pop! Rocks, verify that the figure is made of solid vinyl with a smooth, uniform finish and that the glitter on the glove is applied cleanly without excessive clumping or bleeding onto adjacent areas. Check the base for a clear, legible "Funko" logo and ensure the packaging features the standard Pop! Rocks branding and a scannable barcode that matches the 2023 release. If the vinyl feels lightweight, porous, or has sharp, uneven edges, it is likely a counterfeit, as authentic Funko figures have a distinct weight and molded consistency.
The Michael Jackson (Glitter Glove) Pop! Rocks was released in 2023 by Funko.
I cannot find reliable information confirming that the Michael Jackson (Glitter Glove) Pop! Rocks is currently in print or available for purchase new from Funko. As a 2023 release, it is likely a limited-edition item that has sold out, meaning it is typically only available on the secondary market.
Funko Pop! Rocks are officially graded by third-party services like PSA, which evaluates the figure based on the condition of the vinyl, the glitter coating, and the integrity of the packaging. For a self-condition check, inspect the figure under bright light for any missing glitter, scratches, or paint imperfections, and verify that the box is free from dents, creases, or shelf wear. Because the glitter finish is particularly susceptible to chipping and fading, any loss of the textured surface will significantly impact the grade and value of the item.
