The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Michael Myers Behind Hedge Pop! Movies (SKU 1461) is not considered rare. It is a standard production figure from the 2023 release wave of the Pop! Movies line, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets.
The standard retail price for the Michael Myers Behind Hedge Pop! Movies (SKU 1461) is typically around $12.99, while the secondary market value for a new, unopened figure generally ranges from $15 to $25 depending on current demand and condition. As a 2023 release, it is not considered a rare vintage item, so its value is primarily driven by its status as a standard production run collectible rather than scarcity.
To authenticate your Michael Myers Behind Hedge Pop! Movies (SKU 1461), first verify that the box is sealed with a clear plastic shrink wrap and displays the correct Funko logo, product name, and SKU number. Examine the figure itself for consistent paint application, proper sculpting of the mask and hedge details, and the standard Funko vinyl material, as counterfeit items often feature sloppy molding or incorrect colors. If the packaging or figure appears suspicious, you can compare it against verified images from Funko’s official website or reputable collector communities, though Funko does not provide a formal authentication service for individual items.
The Michael Myers Behind Hedge Pop! Movies was released in 2023 by Funko.
Funko has discontinued the Michael Myers Behind Hedge Pop! Movies (SKU 1461), meaning it is no longer in print and cannot be purchased new from official retail channels. While occasional restocks of specific figures do occur, this particular variant is generally considered out of production, making new stock rare and typically available only through third-party resellers at a premium.
There is no standardized third-party grading service for Funko Pop! figures, so condition is typically assessed by the seller or buyer using informal descriptors like "mint," "near mint," or "open box." You should inspect the vinyl for scratches, paint chips, and seam lines, and check the box for crushing, fading, or damage to the window. If the figure is sealed, its condition is generally considered better than an opened one, provided the packaging remains intact.
