The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Mickey Mouse 10" Pop! (SKU 457) is not considered rare, as it is a standard production item from Funko's core Disney line. It is widely available through major retailers and Funko's own channels, meaning it does not have the limited print run or exclusivity status that typically defines rarity in the collectibles market.
The value of a Funko Pop! Mickey Mouse (SKU 457) fluctuates based on market demand, condition, and whether it is sold in its original sealed box. As a standard retail figure, it typically sells for between $10 and $20, though prices can rise if the item becomes out of print or if it is part of a specific collection set. For the most accurate current valuation, checking recent completed sales on secondary markets like eBay is recommended.
To authenticate a Funko Pop! Mickey Mouse 10-inch figure (SKU 457), first verify that the box is sealed with a holographic sticker and that the figure itself features the standard Funko logo on the base. Check for consistent paint application, sharp sculpting details, and the correct copyright date on the bottom of the figure, which should align with the release year of that specific SKU. If the packaging, font, or physical quality appears off, you can cross-reference the item against official Funko release lists or seek a professional appraisal, as counterfeit figures often exhibit poor paint jobs and incorrect box dimensions.
The Mickey Mouse 10" Pop! Disney (SKU 457) was released in 2018. This figure is part of Funko's 10-inch line, which debuted that year to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the character.
The Mickey Mouse 10" Pop! Disney (SKU 457) is no longer in print and is considered discontinued by Funko. It is generally unavailable as a new item directly from the manufacturer, meaning collectors typically must seek out used copies from third-party retailers or the secondary market.
Condition-checking a 10-inch Funko Pop! involves inspecting the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, and molding defects, with particular attention to the ears, gloves, and shoes which are prone to stress fractures. Verify that the figure is securely seated on the base and that the plastic window of the display box is free of cracks or significant scuffing, as box condition significantly impacts resale value. While professional grading services like PSA can assign a numerical grade, most collectors perform a visual inspection under bright light to identify flaws that are not visible in standard retail lighting.
