Common questions about the Mickey Mouse (Chrome) Pop! Disney from Funko.
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Mickey Mouse (Chrome) Pop! is a special edition variant, making it rarer than the standard vinyl figures. However, it is not considered a limited production run, so it is not exceptionally rare in the collector market. It is a common special edition that is still widely available through major retailers.
The value of a Mickey Mouse (Chrome) Pop! Disney figure depends heavily on whether it is new in box or loose, as sealed chrome variants typically command a premium over unboxed ones. As a mass-produced collectible, its market price fluctuates based on current demand and availability, so checking recent sold listings on platforms like eBay or StockX will provide the most accurate current market value.
To authenticate your Mickey Mouse (Chrome) Pop! Disney, first verify the SKU 7 on the box and check that the figure's chrome finish is uniform without visible seams or air bubbles. Examine the base for the embossed Funko logo and confirm the box includes the standard holographic sticker and product information. If the packaging, figure weight, and surface details match official Funko specifications, the item is likely genuine; if any element seems off, compare it side-by-side with a known authentic example or contact Funko customer service for verification.
The specific release date for the Mickey Mouse (Chrome) Pop! Disney (SKU 7) is not definitively documented in standard Funko release records. While the Chrome series launched in 2019, the exact month and year for this specific SKU is not reliably confirmed in public databases.
The Mickey Mouse (Chrome) Pop! Disney (SKU 7) is generally considered a limited edition item, and its availability for new purchase is often intermittent. While it may occasionally appear in Funko's online store or at select retail partners, it is not a standard, continuously stocked item. Collectors should check current inventory on the official Funko website or authorized retailers to confirm if it is currently in print and available for purchase.
To condition-check this item, inspect the chrome finish for micro-scratches, scuffs, or dull spots, as chrome surfaces are more prone to showing wear than standard vinyl. Verify that the figure is seated securely in its original box and that the window is clean and free of cracks. Check for any paint transfer or residue on the figure's surface, which is a common defect in chrome variants. If the item is loose or damaged, note that chrome figures are generally harder to resell at full value if the finish is compromised.
