The Mickey Mouse (D.I.Y.) Pop! Disney (SKU 1161) is not considered rare, as it is a standard mass-production release from 2022. It was part of the broader Disney line and was widely available through major retailers and online marketplaces. While the "D.I.Y." (Do It Yourself) feature allows for customization, the base figure itself is a common collectible rather than a limited-edition or exclusive variant.
The Mickey Mouse (D.I.Y.) Pop! Disney (SKU 1161) is a 2022 release that is generally worth its retail price of approximately $12 to $15 when new in box. Because it is a common, mass-produced item, the secondary market value for a new figure typically hovers around $10 to $14, while a used figure in good condition usually sells for $6 to $9. Prices can fluctuate slightly based on current market demand, but it remains a budget-friendly collectible rather than a high-value investment.
To authenticate your 2022 Mickey Mouse (D.I.Y.) Pop! (SKU 1161), first verify the box seal and check that the vinyl figure is free of major molding defects, which are common in this line. Confirm the base is flat and the paint is crisp, as the D.I.Y. series features a plain white body designed for customization. While the D.I.Y. line is a standard mass-produced item, you can cross-reference the SKU 1161 against Funko’s official catalog to ensure the packaging and figure details match the 2022 release specifications. If the box shows signs of tampering or the vinyl feels unusually light or rough, it may be a reproduction, so comparing it to a verified original is the most reliable method.
