Common questions about the Mickey Mouse (Glow) Pop! Disney from Funko (2022).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
The Mickey Mouse (Glow) Pop! Disney (SKU 1218) is not considered a rare item. It is a standard production figure from the 2022 Disney line, meaning it was manufactured in large quantities and is widely available through major retailers and secondary markets. While glow-in-the-dark variants can be slightly less common than standard colors, this specific SKU is a regular catalog item rather than a limited edition or special release.
The value of the 2022 Mickey Mouse (Glow) Pop! (SKU 1218) depends heavily on its condition and whether it is still in the box. As a standard 3.75-inch vinyl figure, it typically retails for approximately $12 to $15, but secondary market prices for new-in-box units often range from $15 to $25, while open figures usually sell for $8 to $12. Because this is a common, mass-produced item rather than a limited edition, its value is primarily driven by collector demand for the glow-in-the-dark variant rather than scarcity.
To authenticate your 2022 Mickey Mouse (Glow) Pop! (SKU 1218), first verify the packaging: the box should feature the official Funko logo, a barcode, and a holographic sticker on the back. The figure itself should have the characteristic vinyl texture, with the glow-in-the-dark material appearing opaque white or pale yellow under normal light and emitting a distinct greenish glow in the dark. Check the base for the embossed "Funko" logo and ensure the paint is crisp without bleeding. If the glow effect is weak or the vinyl feels too soft or hard, it may be a counterfeit.
The Mickey Mouse (Glow) Pop! Disney was released in 2022 by Funko.
The Mickey Mouse (Glow) Pop! Disney (SKU 1218) is generally considered out of print and is no longer part of Funko's standard active catalog. While it may occasionally appear in clearance or secondary market listings, it is not typically available for purchase directly from Funko as a new item.
To condition-check a Funko Pop! figure, inspect the vinyl for surface scratches, paint chips, or scuffs, paying close attention to the glow-in-the-dark elements to ensure the phosphorescent coating is intact and not peeling. Verify that the head is properly aligned with the body and that the base is free of cracks or loose parts. For a formal grade, the figure must be submitted to a third-party grading service such as PSA or Beckett, which will assign a numerical score based on a standardized condition scale.
