Common questions about the Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse Pop! Disney from Funko (2022).
The answers below are provided by contributors and may not be fully accurate. Verify important details before relying on them.
No, the Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse Pop! Disney figure is not considered rare. It is a standard production item from Funko's extensive Disney line, and these characters are frequently reissued in various sizes and colorways. Because of its high production volume and broad appeal, it is widely available on the secondary market at or near its original retail price.
The Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse Pop! Disney figure is a standard retail release from 2022, meaning its value is primarily determined by current retail pricing rather than scarcity. In new, sealed condition, it typically sells for around $12 to $15, while used copies generally fetch between $5 and $10 depending on the platform and condition. Because this is a common, mass-produced item without special edition features, it does not command a significant premium over its original retail price.
To authenticate your 2022 Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse Pop! Disney figures, first verify that the box features the official Funko logo and a valid UPC barcode, and check for the "Made in China" marking on the base of the vinyl figures. Inspect the paint application for smoothness and the eyes for proper alignment, as counterfeit items often exhibit sloppy detailing, off-color hues, or a distinct plastic odor. While there is no single definitive test, comparing the weight and texture of the vinyl against a known genuine example is a reliable method for identifying fakes.
The Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse Pop! Disney was released in 2022 by Funko.
Funko Pop! figures are generally produced in limited runs and are frequently discontinued once initial inventory sells out. While the specific 2022 Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse set is likely no longer in active production, availability for new units fluctuates based on retailer stock and potential re-releases. You should check current listings on major retail platforms to confirm if new, sealed copies are still being sold.
There is no official third-party grading service for standard Funko Pop! figures, so condition is assessed informally by collectors based on the presence of defects such as scratches, paint chips, or seam lines. You should inspect the vinyl surface under bright light and check the articulation points, particularly the head joint, for any looseness or stress marks. The original box and any included accessories should also be examined for damage, as these factors significantly influence the item's value in the secondary market.
