The Mickey Mouse (Year of the Tiger) Pop! Disney (SKU 1172) is not considered rare. It was a standard production item released in 2022 as part of the Lunar New Year collection, and it was widely available through major retailers. Because it was produced in large quantities and is not a limited edition, it is generally easy to find in new or used condition.
The retail price for the Funko Pop! Disney Mickey Mouse (Year of the Tiger) #1172 was typically $12.99 USD. As a standard production item from 2022, its secondary market value generally hovers around the retail price, often ranging from $10 to $15 depending on condition and seller.
To authenticate your 2022 Mickey Mouse (Year of the Tiger) Pop! (SKU 1172), first verify that the box features the official Funko logo, the specific SKU number, and the "Year of the Tiger" branding. Inspect the vinyl figure for consistent paint application, sharp edges, and the standard Funko "Pop!" base with the correct character name printed on it. Check that the window is clear and the internal packaging (such as the plastic tray and cardboard inserts) matches known authentic examples, as counterfeiters often use cheaper materials or misspellings. If the box lacks a barcode, the vinyl feels unusually light or heavy, or the eyes are misaligned, it may be a replica.

The Mickey Mouse (Year of the Tiger) Pop! Disney (SKU 1172) is a limited-edition item released in 2022 to coincide with the Lunar New Year. Because it was part of a specific annual collection, it is generally considered out of print and is no longer available to buy new from standard retail channels. Collectors typically seek this figure on the secondary market, where prices often exceed the original retail value due to its limited availability.
To grade or condition-check this figure, inspect the vinyl surface for common defects such as mold lines, air bubbles, or paint imperfections. Verify that the eyes are properly aligned and that the tiger-themed accessories are intact and free of chips. If the figure is still in its original packaging, check for box damage, yellowing, or a cracked window, as these factors significantly impact resale value.
